June 30, 2023

Even if you have a strong pipeline of leads, clients can ignore emails and miss calls.

Fortunately, text message marketing is an effective and affordable way to bring your dormant leads and unresponsive clients back.

We’ve written a whole guide that makes real estate text messaging simple, but one of the questions we frequently get is, “How do I write real estate texts?”

To get you started, I’ve written 31 example text messages that you can copy and paste into your SMS marketing platform:

• New Lead Follow-Ups
• New Listings Promotions
• Open House Invites & Follow-Ups
• Property Showings
• Home Valuation Reports
• Listing Presentation Follow-Ups
• Out-of-Office Autoresponders
• Price Reduction Alerts
• Dormant Lead Check-In
• Review and Referral Requests
• After Closing Follow-Ups
• Offer Accepted Notification

Take advantage of SMS marketing’s 98% open rates and engage your customers. Meaningful connections with your real estate clients are just a text away with SimpleTexting.

As soon as a potential client signs up for text updates, find out how you can assist them. Requesting information from the get-go will help you effectively segment your list.

Leaders in the real estate industry send thousands of texts using our platform. After nearly a decade in text marketing, we’ve learned a thing or two about what works and what doesn’t. Here are our top tips which we’ve incorporated into all of our text message templates:

There’s a reason each template below is brief: your leads are busy! There’s no need to beat around the bush. State the reason for your message right away.

Brevity doesn’t mean becoming a robot. Keep your messages conversational, friendly and professional. If you sound like a person, your lead is more likely to reply.

No one wants to feel like they’re receiving spam. Give your texts a personal touch by including information like your contact’s first name.

Many of our text scripts include questions. After all, the more you know about your clients, the better you can serve them. Plus, questions are a good way to encourage replies.

Ask yourself, “What do I want the recipient to do after reading my message?” Now, include that in your text! It’s better to be forward than to make someone guess what they should do.

Now that you have the text message templates, it’s time to put them to good use. Sign up for a 14-day free trial of SimpleTexting’s real estate SMS platform today (no credit card required).

You’ll see how easy it is to save templates, schedule texts, respond to client questions, and more.
