Hi there, and welcome to SimpleTexting Academy! Today we’re going to show you how to send SMS campaigns. This is one of our most popular features. Here’s how it works.
Create A New Campaign
Go to “Campaigns” then click “New Campaign”.
Give your campaign a name. This is just for your reference, subscribers won’t see this. For example, let’s pretend we’re a bakery announcing a new cookie flavor. We’ll make our campaign name “New Cookie Flavor”. Then, type out your message
Write Your Message
“Sweet Treats: Our new cinnamon cookie is here. We’re only offering it to our text subscribers. Come in and show this text for a free sample.”
By offering discounts and special offers exclusively to your SMS subscriber list, you encourage people to sign up.
Okay, now select who you want to send your message to. Here you’ll see we have a list for employees, restaurants, and customers. We also have a segment of people who have clicked on our menu. We’ve built this using our segments feature, which we’ll go over it another video.
But for now, let’s send our message to our customers list. Select “Customers” and click “Next”.
It’s always a good idea to review your message one last time before you send it out.
