When a website visitor taps on the Click-to-Text button, the SMS app on their cellphone will launch with a pre-written message as well as a pre-filled phone number.
This message should be tailored specifically to your business or organization. For example, if you’re a nonprofit you may want your default message to say, “Hi there, I’m interested in getting involved. What open volunteer positions do you have?”

You can ensure that your button fits in with the overall look and feel of your website. Add an icon, adjust the margins, and play with the fonts until your Click-to-Text button is pixel perfect.
Now that you have your default message written and your design customized, it’s time to add the Click-to-Text button to your website. In the right-hand corner of the tool, click “Embed” and copy the code.
