That’s the sound of a SimpleTexting feature lifting off to the next level of awesome. 🚀
If you’re a SimpleTexting customer, you might be familiar with the basic Custom Fields that were already available in our application.
With this upgrade, we’re building on those capabilities by adding the option to create as many of your own custom fields as you need. It’s a whole new ball game now.
We’re also planning to release another new feature soon—Segments, which will allow you to set up customer segments and filter messages accordingly. Once that’s all fired up and ready to go in your account, you’ll have three great features working together to help you grow your SMS and MMS marketing lists and send targeted campaigns.
To access the updated Custom Fields, log in and click on the Subscribers tab on the left side of your dashboard. In the top right corner, you’ll see a gray button with a gear icon and text that says Custom Fields:
Click on that button, and you should land on a new screen with a list of SimpleTexting’s seven default custom fields:
All of those fields were previously available in our application. Keep scrolling down, however, and you’ll find an area where you can add your own fields by selecting from the following categories:
Once you’ve added a field here, it will automatically appear as an option when you’re creating a new campaign or setting things up in the Data Collection app.
