Have you ever sent a text that had you hiding from your phone afterward? You know the ones: your hands get sweaty, regret immediately sets in, and there’s no relief until you finally receive a response. Maybe it’s the one you want, maybe it isn’t, but either way your risky text could now win you $1,000 cash in SimpleTexting’s new contest!

A screenshot of your riskiest text message and any relevant context: It’s that simple! 

How to Enter

To enter the contest, contestants must fill out all fields of the entry form. The form also requests the contestant’s name and email address so that we can notify the winner once one has been selected. Applicants must be 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply.

Any contestants who do not complete the entry form by following the below link will not be eligible for the contest. 

The deadline for contest entries is Friday, February 25, 2022. Contestants will need to submit their riskiest text message screenshot via the form below by the deadline in order to be considered. After this date, no further entries to the contest will be permitted. 

• Submission must include a screenshot of the risky text. Screenshots of graphic images will not be tolerated.
• The entry should include the text that was sent as well as any relevant context for the text. Context explaining the text message or text thread must be between 100 and 300 words. The length of the actual text message may vary. 
• Applicants must be 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply.

What You’ll Get

The winner will be announced on Friday, March 11, 2022, and will receive a $1,000 cash payment.

Contest Terms and Conditions

The rules of the competition and prize details are as follows: 

1. The promoter of this competition is SimpleTexting whose principal office is located at SimpleTexting LLC 2420 17th St. Denver, CO 80202.
2. Employees of SimpleTexting or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
3. Persons must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise have reached the age of majority under the laws of the state where you reside, in order to participate.
4. Only residents of the United States are eligible to participate.
5. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
6. There is NO ENTRY FEE AND NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER THIS COMPETITION. Any purchase or consideration otherwise given by entrants will not improve one’s chances of winning.
7. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are available via www.simpletexting.com. Individuals may enter to win by clicking on the participation link on SimpleTexting’s website. Upon clicking the participation link, entrants will be asked to provide their name and contact information so that SimpleTexting can notify the winner of the results.
8. Closing date for entry will be February 25, 2022. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
9. Only one winner will be selected from the entire pool of eligible entries. The selection process will be at the discretion of SimpleTexting. 
10. The winner will be notified by email and/or letter within 14 business days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 1 day of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
11. SimpleTexting will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
12. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and SimpleTexting reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
13. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current federal and state data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
14. The winner’s name will be available 28 days after the closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address:

15. SimpleTexting’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
