Here at Simple Texting, we love implementing text message marketing in new and innovative ways. From customer surveys to Facebook and Twitter integration, SMS offers endless ways to engage with customers.
We were thrilled when we were asked to help with a sweepstakes campaign for The Nice Guys, a new movie coming out in American theaters on May 20, 2016. The film, which stars Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling, follows two men attempting to solve the case of a missing girl in 1970s Los Angeles. The Nice Guys was written and directed by Iron Man 3 director, Shane Black, and promises classic intrigue and plenty of fun.
For their sweepstakes, The Nice Guys teamed up with Lucky Strike. Contest entrants have the opportunity to win movie tickets to The Nice Guys, a 4 person bowling party at Lucky Strike, and cool movie swag. Entering the contest is as simple as texting “NICEGUYS” to the short code, “555888.”
The contest ends on May 30, so don’t waste a minute—enter now.
But that isn’t the only way you can enter. You can also fill out the sweepstakes entry form online and visit your local Lucky Strike, where you’ll have more opportunities to win The Nice Guys merch. Even though we’ll defend SMS to the end, different customers like to interact in different ways. It’s important to give your customers as many ways to engage as possible, and this is a great example of how to implement text messaging, the internet, and that crazy thing called real life.
